If you live in the DMV go to Annapolis mall and visit this cute little shop, "A Lush Life". I was amazed as soon as I walked in the door as the aroma of angels shot into my nose! Lol It's like heaven in there! The shop sells everything organic and handmade anything from skin care, facials, soaps, to moisturizing and perfumes. If your a love everything natural type of girl you'll be amazed at what you find in there! Anything you purchase the proceeds will go to a foundation they sponsor as well. Can't wait to go back!

Markies hair day!
My friends hair was looking a little rough so me and my friend had to get him together! I love this mans texture, really all he needs is water and some oil to get his curls popping.

Waist Beads!
I finally got my new waist beads. My friends sister makes them. They take time to make, but she just does it as a hobby! I brought 3 for 25, one is 10 so I figured I might as well get 3! I like these ones because the last one I had was made from cotton string, these are elastic so they stretch, which is a plus I can take them on and off!
Black History Tea!
Recently I attended a black history tea party! It was my first time going to one, we played games, sang songs, shopped, socialized, ate good food and of course drank tea! I was among black women young and old, we all came together to enjoy each others company, but also to celebrate our history. I will be going again next year!

Marley Twist!
I had to do them again! I haven't had my Marley twist since June of last year, it was time!! I used 6 packs of hair to get them nice and thick. Two of my packs were actually color. I'm not sure how long I'll be keeping them in, but they are defiantly coming in handy as my protective style and i can do so much with them! It feels nice to give my hair a break and still keep it in a natural style choice.

Thrift finds!
I found a couple of nice things at the thrift store. Thrift finds always make me excited because usually there's nothing else out here like it, so I been doing it since I was in my pre teens I'm 21 now! You never know what you'll find at a local thrift store or yard sale down the street thats the real beauty in it! I would have to say jewelry is my favorite part of thrifting process. I fall in love with modern vintage pieces the most, things with unique shapes, colors and patterns always catch my eye. Here's what I snagged up for only 8.00 : )
Don't really care for the shoulder pads so I'll be taking those out.
The Polkadot earrings are actually clipons! I'll wear those too.

Lipstick!
I'm starting to really go crazy for some lipstick! I can have on some simple, plain makeup and just add a lipstick and instantly add some pizazz to my face! Right now I've been finding the cheapest lipsticks that works well with my skin tone, that's fine with me!
